Download the HubSpot extension
The HubSpot extension will then allow you to use your e-mail address directly on your e-mail service, enabling you to perform a variety of actions:
- Log your e-mail exchanges with customers in HubSpot automatically
- Automatically create a new contact in HubSpot when you receive an email from a new prospect
To do this, click on Download Extension in the window validating your e-mail connection to your HubSpot account.
- Depending on your e-mail provider, download the appropriate extension by clicking on Download.
In the case of Lakhos, we use Gmail and have therefore downloaded the extension for Gmail in the first column of the screenshot.
In case your business email provider is Microsoft Outlook installed on your desktop (with Office 365) for example, download the Outlook Desktop extension in the third column of the capture.
- Once the extension has been installed, click Done.
- You can now check that your e-mail is connected to your HubSpot account.
You should be on your e-mail settings page, with a green dot indicating Enabled status, as in the screenshot below.
If you don't land directly on this page, you can access it in Settings (by clicking on the cogwheel at the top right of your screen on the HubSpot platform), then General and Email.
